I was tempted the day
i saw the needle in the sky
a very strange sight indeed
when a purple penguin dies
and when the word is silent
for fear that all is lost
will you come to save us all
or create a hollocaust?
for all i see is you my love
and all i know is dust
will you come to save the world
or let the whole world rust?
let's set the world on fire
and burn it to the sky
and when the people scream in fear
we all shall watch them cry
but will you save the souls my love?
or let them die in fear?
will you be the one they forever hate
or the one for which they cheer?
when the son of fame and fortune
is seen by all and none
and money held by many
is only held by one
can any make the words sound right
or all left unheard?
will you let the people speak, my love?
or silence every word?
