Symbiosis

Symbiosis

A Poem by ...

Says Love...
I will not be moved
by primitive hands
and cold feet.
I am the core.
The eye in the center
of this hurricane.
I am not an instrument,
I am the symphony.
I am not hope,
You are.
I am infinite,
YOU are possibility.
I am that, I am...
Always...all-ways...Love

I gave this a second reading and indeed love produces symbiotic relationships as two dissimilar human beings become joined and depend upon one another. The opening to this poem is strong, intense and captivating. If only love could be so but unfortunately too many humans override the strength you attribute to it in this flowing piece Lynn.

...powerful words, Lynn. So much to choose from to highlight...much enjoyed!

"I am not an instrument, I am the symphony."

This is another spirited and fluid piece of free verse with some lovely phrases and a defiant voice.

thank you john :)
Does the title Symbiosis symbolize that its a relationship of love that depends upon one another?? but it could be good, bad or mutual.. for the infinite it would at a greater lost than a possibility.

i also really liked these words "I am not an instrument, I am the symphony."

Thank you so much :)
That is simply beautiful and really gets at the core of what love is. I especially like the lines "I am the core. The eye in the center of the hurricane."

This entire poem (I consider it a memorandum from God because it reminds me that He is Love and He is perfect) IS AWESOME!!!!
