A dress and a tux

A dress and a tux

A Poem by Treble

It was a night of sparkles,
Of celebrating best and worst,
Of beautiful enthusiasm burst.

There were a hundred kids,
All eager to go,
Some making a... bit... of a row...

I saw dresses and suits
Wearing rhinestones and roses,
The people beneath stopping for poses.

It wasn't what I wanted,
It wasn't me.
So guess what? I went to prom in a T-shirt and jeans.
