Despite the Craters

Despite the Craters

A Poem by Treble

My auburn heart,
layered in sentimentality,
sinks into the valley of the horizon
and harbors every wondrous thought of you.

Your intentions, I find,
Tend to be gold plated,
But I fall for them every time,
Loving every bit of you.

Every memory of you,
Everything I love of you
Changes the beating of my heart.
And I'm blessed to know such a
wondrous and flawed human being.

craters do not make the moon and are reminders that it isn't perfect...no one is... and to love one's imperfections is to truly love... a creative and well-written piece, Treble

True that. No one is perfect, and that's the most perfect part. :)

Yes, indeed, the perfection in imperfection makes it all perfect :D
Ah, yes, it is a very beautiful poem. About a crush, or a current relationship maybe? Very well done. I am rating this 100 points sharp! Keep writing. Ps: Danny, thanks for the read requests.
