Mother dearestA Poem by BeanYou can run, but you can't hide. She is a part of youI cut her out of my life but you can't cut the strings that form when you are in her womb
Instead she reared her ugly persona in unexpected ways as I found myself mimicking her behavior when anything became heated or emotional
I felt her steel green gaze eminating from my frame As ice cold synonyms slipped from pursed lips
Who have I become? This bitter, brutal b***h!
