on a day like today
when my mind is so clear and open
the things that might irk me on the day to day
like the dimple in my a*s
or the cheque I never wrote
or the relationship I fucked up
or the habit I never kicked
or the song I never sang....

seem but distant reminders of who I was only yesterday, but who I am becoming just today
