I loved you in the morning

when your eyes were closed & your breathing steady.

I loved you when you cried.

No matter the cause happy or sad.

I loved you when you were exhausted.

From work or from school.

I loved you when our love was fresh.

But still love you when its old and used.

I loved you when you were a stranger.

I still do now that you are my old familiar.

I loved you then.

I still love you now.

I will love you tomorrow.
