Time has come to leave all behind

Burn my history and in the ashes

sow the seeds of now

Showing the future patience to operate

betting all faith that this one choice

this one time all will be forgotten

Sitting, my bare knees in the gravel

begging for the sign, showing

assuring, all will be well

These scars go deep

but I'm ready, ready to move on

to forgive what's been done

if just the past stays

I'll rise again

I love how encouraging this poem is!!! "I'll rise again" it's so motivating!!

Also "burn my history and in the ashes" its such a creative way to say the past is the past never to be remembered again.
