Cry

Cry

A Poem by Trivén

Cry, cry
Rivers wide or deep
A gentle rain
Or the pour of a waterfall

A single tear or all
Feel safe, for the tears will wane
To cry's a must, not all should be contained
If you must weep, then weep
Just trust your eyes will dry

And I
Will still
Be here.

Hiiiiii!!!!

I love the imagery in this poem. I image that river and waterfall of tears, hoping to shed one but fearing the pain of it.

Its sooo true "to cry's a must, not all should be contained." Such powerful words and wonderfully said.

My favorite part "and I will still be here." Such a heartfelt part and wholesome.

Thanks for creating such beautiful poems. I'm your biggest fannnnnn!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

A very supportive, comforting offering here. The speaker comes across as one who once loved the addressee, but whose bid was not accepted.
