MagnitudeA Poem by TyMagnitudeMagnitude An extent of efforts and love Invested vastness Over Kalahari's vast desert Veiled in blanketed, searing heat from above Determined magnitude, Time My compass, clock, and stopwatch I'd travel back through past and Magnolia trails Thick and heavy Congruous the latitude and longitude South of the equator As if I'd evaluated humidity intensively in subtropical lands I'll forever value your words, Your peace, your treasure So what is your view? How does it measure? A different perspective Your energy Stellar gravitational inter connectivity A universe that wouldn't abide by the rules Mind, body, and auras The soul of Neptune Or an Elephant in the room In an effort to reach you in words, instances, and inches In hopes of achieving emotional connect, Of scale of long days basking in ambiance and sweeping Moravian Fields An energy that'd imitate cliffs of Moher Rigid, steep, Eminence Thoughts intricately woven as ancient calligraphy In fact I've asked my environment From Serengeti to Heavens, Where rain fell in plenty And concluded a metropolitan mind wouldn't know any better Sometimes emanating ignorance Imitating distance between a red and blue state Distinctive A transcontinental villain dark voyage, Voices and sea so deep It'd reverberate and quake Funneled through tunnels and time With no escape, It flooded for miles Headache of heartache And still some would swan dive into valleys of pain And deep ocean trenches To save as many, they'd repeat this again Confirmation there's a fraction of humanity left within.
