“Africa, Our Comfort Zone”
In Africa's ravaged landscape, where
shadows roam,
Love and peace, a flickering flame, struggle to call home.
Corruption's dark veil shrouds the land in night,
Yet, from the ashes, a resilient spirit takes flight.
Like a phoenix, she rises, fierce and
untamed,
Radiant as dawn's fiery blaze, her beauty reclaimed.
Through tempests and turmoil, she stands unbroken,
A monument of strength, like Everest's snow-crowned token.
We are the embers, glowing bright and
true,
Purified by fire, frost, and water too.
Forged in the crucible of struggle and pain,
We rise, unbroken, our spirits unstill, our will regained.
We are the salt of the earth, seasoned with strife,
The sweetness of survival, the bitterness of life.
We soar on eagle's wings, above the fray,
Dive deep as fish, into the darkest bay.
Africa's heartbeat pulses through our
veins,
Mother earth's rhythm, our life's refrain.
Joy and charity, our fractured hearts' repair,
Love's essence, our shattered souls' gentle care
