 Heavy is the heart, burdened within,
 Each day strolls by, as memories creep in.
 All fleeting moments now tainted in black,
 Refined nostalgia, treasures we lack.
 Today, life reflects what we used to be.

 Bittersweet moments flash by, as I
 Realize the void of a life without you.
 Echoes of your sweet soprano voice,
 A melody that brings me endless joy.
 Keeps on ringing, a noise of affection.

You have captured well how yearning for that person who is gone away feels. Lines evocate the pangs of reliving just with their memories ,few bittersweet ones but without that friend life feels void. Good share dear Tumi
