The Lost Children

The Lost Children

A Poem by Sarah

We are not physically lost,
We are invisible to the lives of those around us,
Crying and screaming is not getting us help,
Our endless rants of bitterness is not letting us be helped,
All feel lost when the cold piercing stairs wound our ever breaking hearts,
Sending us to a place of the lost,
We are shoved to the side like the life rejects,
They do not realize such painful abuse comes from such shun,
It's a life of cruel misery we live in,
If you even want to call it life,
Personally, it's thought of an entrapment,
Wanting to engulf any and all people,
We are invisible children,
We are the lost children
