Stone statueA Poem by Sarah
eeling trapped in this body,
Broken, damaged and useless, Trapped in this body, I'm nobody.... On this buddy that has scars, From beatings, cuttings, and welts, I head races with panicked thoughts... A tired lioness wore after an attack, Being strong as stone, But the thing about stone, Is that even that breaks down after storms, Falling and breaking, Weeping on the inside, Strong as stone on the out. Signs of weather starting to show, It's only a matter of time till I crumble... © 2015 Sarah |
