Just a letter to the rain.

Dear rain,

I saw you today, you were beautiful. I have someone who tells me about how you bring life to the world, giving water to the plants and animals. You have this odd way of making people rush about as if the world was ending. I like to dance to the beat of your drops, the steady drum, drum, drum you make when you hit the roof of my house. I dance with someone special to me in the rain, she is very pretty. Anyways, I’m sure you figured out by now that I am not writing this just for small talk, I have a request. I know you saturate deep into the earth, but just this once, could you go down deeper? Could you go six feet down this time? I need you to go that far because the special person I mentioned is down there, and I need you to bring her life, so she can live on in more places than just my heart. Maybe, if you bring her back, we can all three go dancing again. Sorry to bother you,
