Forced to a halt!

Forced to a halt!

A Poem by Nassira
"

it just flows out of me ....

"

Forced to a halt!

What is the pain that I feel when I reminisce about a long time ago?

It feels like a pinch … a bruise … a slow death in motion.

Who can try to comprehend the message within the flow?

Who can fly over the moon and despite the tempest bring the potion?

I thought it would be easy … I would just cross the sea.

Pushed by ambitions, my life would take its place,

A bit like in a dream, I would adjust to thee.

As a piece of puzzle, fall right into my place.

Oh, so wrong was I! Oh so torn I became!

My yearning for adventure suddenly fell apart.

“No more moving around” would soon become my name!

As I slowly lose sight … as I slowly depart.

Once again you wrote something that touched my soul,"a slow death in motion", what a powerful description. Is this based on a certain remembrance of a place or of a person? You continue to write such beautiful prose, please don't stop writing. Thanks.
