Traveling

This is now I feel about traveling.

Of course I would like

to travel the world and

sample its sweet nectar.

 

I would adore to fly like the birds

and to crawl like the snakes.

To swim like a dolphin

and breath like a fish.

 

But then

to have a full stomach,

you will have an empty wallet.

This is really good. For such a short poem it has a lot of impact on the reader. The similes in the second stanza make me feel uplifted and happy. Tis a feel good poem. It shows that you have to make some sacrifices for the things we like/want. (:
