A monster
In a den

A general
And his men

Banging on the door
Explosions pushing it apart

As the beast lays on the floor
Waiting for the slaughter to start

The final boom
The door goes down

Men rush in their tomb
Bullets flying around

The monster jumps
And fights them all

Kills with bloddy fist pumps
Till the last one takes his fall

A bloody mess
The monster walks out

You can guess
What it did shout

Freedom at last
No longer trapped in a room

Now it is his past
He is released in a thundering boom

FOOLS
He roars

They were just tools
Used in wars

I loved this poem. It shows what a waste war is. I enjoyed reading this poem. I hate war so much. It's just pointless ways to kill young men and women...and the other people that have lost their lives were innocent. Thank you for sharing. :)
