I wanted this to be perfect 

but I guess I lost the plot

this can be read as positive or negative which I like - it can be stumbling and breatheless because of the love - or more bitter - depressive almost - "I can't think straight" - "lost the plot" - because of the love! nice

LOL, cute...a play with words on all old poetic line...I'll be alone on valentines, but that's not a bad thing...I thing valentines can be over rated, yet with the right person, it can be a fulfilling, as well. Its a double edge sword, at times. Oh well.
