L.O.V.E

"Love is just a word", I thought. Just a careless drag of the “O” and stress on the “V.”

Nothing more, nothing less.

But, that simple “O” choked me as I silently begged for you to stay.

That “V” inaudible as my tears blurred your figure as you walked away.
