The butterfly effect is pretty powerful. The power of a first apartment after troubles is real.

Pacing a hole in the floor of my first apartment,

studying the many new walls that encase my world.

A new beginning born from dark ashes,

the past is just that; the storm has passed.

The floor is leveled and packed;

concrete strength supporting my path.

General reflection guides my thoughts,

this place is clean and strong.

No flashy do-dads or structural problems.

This place is my first breakthrough in finding greater things in life.

It has solid foundations for the roots I intend to plant.

To show the world and myself who I am;
