For A ReasonA Poem by Laura Ex
It's chilly outside
And i think of your Thrift-store drug-rug That keeps you warm In the wind This room is rather cold And my math teacher Explains simple algebra But i can only think of How smart you are I'll be walking from this class And out into the brisk air Wrapping my very own drug-rug Tight around my body Exactly where your arms should be Then I'll get home And feel warm, smiling Knowing that i can be happy Just as long as you are You found each other for a reason © 2010 Laura ExAuthor's Note
