Dragon's Breath

After contracting a deadly virus, Harry tries to escape from a horde of religious zealots out to kill him.

“I can't do this,” Harry whispered. “I won't do this.”

The rusty pick-up truck bumped along the rough road. Harry sat in the back with four others, hands bound by plastic ties. They all had a paleness to their faces, colored only by the blood that painted their lips like make-up and their puffy cavernous black eyes.

“What are you going to do?” one of the carriers asked. He coughed in three bursts then continued, “You can't outrun them.”
