At Eternity's Gate

The gate! The gate! We all fear the day when we face those giant ways to eternity

At Eternity’s Gate

At eternity’s gate

we all gather

Our last breath

has been heard

by those whom

we left

To be judged

by the Almighty

in his throne

and to know

where we are

to go

Is it the raging

inferno of hell?

Or the pleasant

fields of paradise?

Only He knows

where and we

wouldn’t know

which until

we are judged

Like sheep on

a farm before

the butcher

At Eternity’s gate

we all gather

to face what we

should yet it

is too late

but still to early
