You Show Me The Way

A poem about learning to let go and let God

In the mist of the storm,
Guide me.

 

When all that surrounds seems hopeless,
Guide me.

 

As I stumble in the darkness,
Guide me.

 

When the sun shines and all I can think of is You
Lead me.

 

As I embrace all my challenges placed in my path,
Lead me.

 

When the flowers bloom help me to remember -
I too will grow strong and beautiful.

 

When the birds sing and the leaves fall gracefully to the earth-
Remind me, that I too hold the joy of freedom in my heart.

 

As each day passes,

You show me the way!
