My presentation to honor Freyja, The LadyA Poem by The Valerian LegionWritten by Dax Highcross
In my hubris, I lost my way
I sought shelter in embracing thiervy It is by her leniency that I must see that love is understanding The truth be told I see not that I am forgiven of trespasses and found cherished indeed In my pain, it is with tender caress that I honor you My thanks, Lady, you are gracious and forgiving It with my humility that I will remember that I am worthy of you That I am not a penny but now a nickel The compass points to where you lay coarse reverse of my self inflictions So that I may be made free of them And be so esteemed that you bestow favor upon me I thought I was hard to love So i settled for broken pieces In this gift you have given me On bended knee, i offer my vulenerability and seek your comfort I will seek your guidance when i struggle in my mirror And ask for warm embrace For when my vision blurs i will see i am loved in my mess © 2025 The Valerian Legion |
