In this space there is
No me, no you, no names.
There's only what I feel.
I've owned streets in play
Money, conquered the
Whole world with little
Plastic men. But I've never
Owned a heart that was
Mine alone. I'm a writer
But I can't write you into
Being right. All this is, is a
Reincarnation of hurt and
Lies. Time doesn't dull pain.
That's an assumption that
Doesn't hold true. Time puts
Years over experience like
A blanket over a child. I've
Grown weary of peeking up
Through the holes.
