day 11 - new orleans

inspired by the song "welcome home" by radical face and my friend chloe for suggesting the city. i have a good idea for a short film from this poem.

rub the sea salt from your eyes, i said,
look at this mess around us, you said.
i said, you ran to the mess, you said,
this mess is still home, i said,
welcome home.
