it's lovely to wake up to you every morning

it's lovely to wake up to you every morning

A Poem by Victoria

we must have been lovers long
before we were born into this world
oh my love, full of lies and defenses
how else would i know you, were i not her?
the eye of the storm, the heart of the sea
they'd never understand - always disbelieving
while we stand as a mysterious spectacle
like the curious walk of waves vanishing.

thirteen that was my bane has now since changed:

each day, you are my waking sunrise
heaven, silver skin, voice rich in summer song
i may walk babylon gardens of eden
but only for your perfect imperfection i long.
