Under a Tree

A simply sweet memory

I remember a time,

just you and I,

how sweet it would be to go back to then,

a simple moment my mind can’t comprehend,

because of it’s so sweet nostalgia,

as we sat in the silence,

of each other’s hearts,

nothing could pull us apart.

How I wish you could hold me again,

once more like then,

sitting under the tree,

just you and me.
