Flower field abandoned by the rain
Feeling empty and dry
Rail tracks with no train
Still and quiet like the blue sky

A disappointment you can't erase
A secret life that left a trace

This mixed up jar of emotions
Waiting to explode at any moment
Enough to cause a commotion
Just to fuel your enjoyment

Why couldn't you be brave?
I was the soul you needed to save

oh.. This left me speechless. especially the last line. i can really relate to it. even though the whole poem is mind blowing, my fav line is "a secret life that left a trace" it is so touchy, sad, painful yet beautiful and silent. I really loved it Vanessa. Amazing work.
