Beach Baby BluesA Poem by Lobster GoldbergAnother bit of random
One fat baby on the beach
One ice cream out of reach. Reaching, straining and crying out
From his eyes the tears start to spout He is making a scene How could they be so mean Leaving it out on the sand And not in his hand Will someone just come? Help a baby so glum Give it a little shove And a baby some love But now it's too late The treat met its fate Into the sand it did melt And the grief he now felt He started to cry Then he spotted something with his eye His mind was just blown It was his dad with a cone
