My God

My God is a confusing one,

A scary, yet loving one,

An infinite and timeless one.

My God sent his only son.

 

My God is, was, and always will be.

He's always there, but never seen.

His mystery is never-ending.

My God does the unforeseen.

 

My God is Elohim.

My God is Adonai.

My God is Yahweh.

My God is life.

 

"[My] God is the strength of my heart,

And my portion forever."

Author's Note

I used Psalm 73:26 for the couplet concluding the sonnet. That's why I put brackets around "[My]" because I wanted to add a personal touch to the verse (<--- to clear up any possible confusion, or if you liked the verse and wanted to check it out). Anyways, hope you enjoy!

This is very good, and true except for one thing. The very first line. God is not confusing at all, the Bible says Satan is the author of confusion. Just saying. lol
