Spring

A "couplet" poem I wrote in 6th grade.

It is a beautiful day today

But the weather says something about rain

Now I'm drained of happiness

The flowers are growing

Now they are rejoicing

Because it's pouring

I thought that the weather

Said nice is forever

I guess I was wrong

But now its sunshine

Did you know that I'm allergic to red wine?
