Truth And The Disappearing Feet

 

 

i've noticed when you begin to tell the Truth
you cannot feel your feet anymore.
it's as if they've disappeared.
like the truth is testing you :
"can you make it without your feet?"
and funny that the numbness begins there,
as if the Truth is daring you.
"come on, keep it up, next it will be your legs
then your hips, your stomach, your chest".
soon before you know it
you will have disappeared completely.
and then what?
do you get a new body?
a new mind?
a new spirit?
will you see the you that's been hidden
under all of your lies and deceptions?

what a fascinating concept. how truth and freedom make you alien to your body. the phsycial.

it reminds of me of scuba diving. learning to let go of gravity and the limitations of the body.

this is a simple, straightforward beautiful look at how serious the journey to truth it. the scary realization... are you ready to let go? oftentimes we aren't.
