The Struggle

The Struggle

A Poem by i.dont.know.what.to.put

He struck like lighting;

Sudden and hard.

Even then, he was my sacred writing.

Then it became obvious; I was scarred.

Searching, I found my bitter serenity.

Unknowingly I became a prisoner of my own mind

And I lost the key; now it’s a necessity.

There are no tears for the ones left behind,

Because there’s simply nothing left of me.

He picked me off the floor,

I told him I was fine.

He lifted me, lifted me higher than ever before.

Then I could see; he was the divine.

My forever more.

This is an amazing poem,
It has so much detail and I think it’s very inspirational.
I can tell it’s from the heart.
My favorite part was, “Even then, he was my sacred writing. Then it became obvious; I was scarred.”
Keep up the amazing writing because you have talent!
Sincerely,
C. Lee Battaglia
