ghostsA Poem by voidsparrowif you listen hard enough...it was far too late for the shadows to be out their routines had ended and they were tucked away back in the crevices. i was in search of a ghost to converse with, knowing that they converse very well past midnight, seemingly fueled by the light of the moon. i had missed my chance again and so i listenned to the crickets instead, chirp chirp, they whispered go to sleep, you're very tired. the ghosts can wait, boy, they have all the time in the world to tell stories, even if you don't. © 2010 voidsparrow |
