Four haiku written while walking - 3/24/12A Poem by Weston R.While walking today, I ended up writing these four haiku.
Butterfly, black, orange
pauses on a magnolia Flies into field A hint of flower As magnolias quiver In the light spring breeze Children babbling over the scuffling of feet On the cool sidewalk Dead worm in a ditch Stiff and dry and lying still Died after the rain © 2012 Weston R.Author's Note
