I know why Mona Lisa smiles.

I know why Mona Lisa smiles.

A Poem by K

Alone and by myself, with my thoughts, but well accompanied.

Looking for the answers to no questions, looking for my backbone, looking for my soul. Feeling uninspired, full of life, full of sorrow, full of age.

Crying without tears, screaming with no fears, listless, satisfied, engorged in my selfishness, lost of all selflessness.

My burden is my virtue, my intelligence my sin.

Looking for the new air, looking for that smile, looking for my faults. Feeling over saturated in this moment.

All the walls expanding around me, as the records skips, my heart is pounding softly, reminding me to breathe. Unaware of all these thoughts, full of grace, full of elegance, this heart of mine, full of thoughts.

A mind that feels, a hearts that thinks, a soul that yearns and yet I sit here... alone, by myself, with my thoughts, well accompanied.
