Cracked Earth, Blade Unheld

Cracked Earth, Blade Unheld

A Poem by Tendai

I am sad but I’m happy by myself.
Cracked earth, rain-starved.
Blade without warrior, on a forgotten hill.

No light since you went away
Each day breaks me more.
Half of who I was before.

A ghost outside your door,
This pain, sharp no shield.
You without nothing I’m less than myself.

Woooww Tendai!! This poem has so much strength to it and yet its also very heartfelt. "No light since you went away. Each day breaks me more. Half of who I was before." And its so true after a deep relationship your only as good as you could be which is half of what was beforehand so well put.

I'm sorry for what you're going through but it sounds like you're quite the warrior either emotionally or actually one but either way I hope things will get better for you. 😔😔😔
