A Poem by Tendai

I stopped feeling love, after you left.
I stopped sensing warmth in the sun, after you left.
I stopped tasting sweetness on my tongue, after you left.
I stopped seeing the point in tomorrow, after you left.
I stopped hearing my own laughter, after you left.

…And when every sense went dark and numb,
I finally started sensing me.
I found a world where I belong, now that you’ve left.
