Rinse and Repeat

A Chapter by Robert Francis Callaci
"

wash away our troubles

Rinse and Repeat

(a Triolet Haiku Diamante Symphony)

Light

bright twinkle

radiating illuminating glowing

sparkle glimmer mysterious eerie

enchanting gloaming haunting

serene restless

Night

glistening dew drops

quivering seedlings sprouting

sun salutations

Light devours night

The sun rises in the east

Darkfall hides out of sight

Light devours night

The nightbeast waits till dusk to flex its might

She sucks luminosity out of daylight and feasts

Light devours night

The sun rises in the east

in the moonlit night

lovers bathe in bulan beams

the hoot of an owl

Night swallow’s light

The sun sets in the west

Daybright hides out of sight

Night swallow’s light

The Dayslayer waits till dawn to flex its might

He declares Nightbeast is nothing more than an insidious pest

Night swallow’s light

The sun sets in the west

on gossamer wings

 eventide collides with dawn

clouds of broken glass

Light and night forever fight

The sun rises and falls at Sleeper’s behest

Daybreak and Darkfall struggle to reunite

Light and night forever fight

As Dayslayer and Nightbeast slice and bite

at the Eternal Sleeper’s undying request

Light and night forever fight

The sun rises and falls at Sleeper’s behest

Light

bright twinkle

radiating illuminating glowing

sparkle glimmer mysterious eerie

enchanting gloaming haunting

serene restless

Night
