I Will Sing for YouA Poem by Wesley DinglerFor Allie
If you ever feel you've lost your own voice,
and the world makes it seem like you have no choice but to give up and give in, know I will sing for you. When the hours seem to stretch on for days, and dark clouds form just to obscure your gaze, please don't give up or give in. Know I will sing for you. I know just how it feels to see your dream spiraling down the drain-- when demons don't even have to vie, because you've already lost it all to the hands of fate. I remember those days. Those days can bring about a plague. But have no fear. I will still be here, and I will still know your face. Trust that I will take the stage, and I will sing in your place. Trust I will never give up or give in. Trust that I will bleed for you. If you ever feel you've lost your own voice, and the world makes it seem like you have no choice but to give up and give in, know I will sing for you. We all have days that we don't want to speak of. We all have days when we can't make ourselves speak up. And on those days, I swear, it won't be your cross alone to bear. I will be the voice that clears the air. © 2025 Wesley DinglerReviews
