Do You Remember Walking Through The Snow?

Do You Remember Walking Through The Snow?

A Poem by Wesley Dingler

Do you remember walking through the snow?
The sun with its crisp winter glow?

The sound of the crunch beneath our feet...
A sound we considered a treat...

Do you remember walking in the wood,
for no other reason than we could?

The seeds of the Honey Locusts...
Scattered like rose petals for both of us...

Remember being snowblind, and never forget
the weather we have weathered since the year we met.
