Lost Home

Lost Home

A Poem by whiteNight
"

Pfaha, sometimes I really just rambling in rhyme - and then call it poetry.

"

In this field, I sit alone

My thoughts drifting away

As I sit on this dilapidated throne

I look across the faded plain

Looking for a sign of my old life

Though it seems I look in vain

I've been here many times before

But through the tiresome years

It’s been rampaged by a silent war

I need this place - this rampaged haven

With all these worn out faces

To whom my mind is slaven

As I get up to forever roam

This is where my heart will stay

Though it is no longer my home.

(It seems I don’t have a home anyway)

About
Hi, I'm 16, and constantly moving. I've lived around the world, and I wanted a place to share my writing. I'm a sucker for beat poems, and I would be lost without sports and literature in my life. .. more..
