As the night falls

And the days tremble with depression

A woman walks alone

She steps onto the horizon of the light

And screams with agony

 

The widow wanders

The widow trembles

The widow is guided into the night alon

She takes a breath

And waits for that special someone

 

Lying on the ground

Looking up into the sky

Thinking of who will come

The widow wanders

The widow wanders

 

Step by step

She walks into the shadows

Follows her heart

And finds what is suppose to be her destiny

As the widow wanders

 

Redemption is a must

She is the YIN

Needing the YANG

To complete her search

 

She glances

Left and Right

Just waiting for him

As the widow wanders

Forever in search of that missing part of her, yet consuming it once found, to leave her forever in search of that missing part of her. While one can apply so many psychological profiles to what might be going through her mind, one can just as easily see how this destructive nature plagues so many of us in so many forms. It speaks in volumes if we but take the moment to notice.

Wow, you are able to relate so well to how loneliness feels. A widow does always ache for her love. I saw it in my Mother, as my father died. In fact, I will have to let her read this one. Nicely done!
