Our lives are beautiful

Cherish it every moment

We stick together

And love each other till our souls

Are no more

 

We have been waiting

For each other

Looking in each others eyes

Taking breath by breath

Sympathy is the key

 

Love is our sympathy

We hold each others hearts

Feeling each beat

And fill our dreams

With truth

And with LOVE

 

Staring in the eyes

Thinking day after day

Dreaming night after night

Love is the sympathy

Our sympathy

for some reason this conjured up 'i only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me'.
but it seems to me that in this poem, sympathy is used rather loosely, almost used incorrectly if you will. It is only my opinion, but humility seems to fit the bill for me here.
