Noble Steed (based off the book The Giver)

Well, this was an assignment for school, but i guess i could post it here.

No longer can I,
Tell the truth from a lie,
and i'm scared that there ain't a cure.
But the feelings are known,
And i'm ready to run,
about this, i am truly sure.
For once in my life,
I'm ready to fight,
for this, I really do care.
No running, no hiding,
No fleeing, no flighting,
no longer am i "too scared".
The time is right,
So i'll leave tonight,
to show that this is what they need.
Behind me, my past,
None of these feelings will last,
as i carry on about my noble steed.

Awesome!!! I don't know anything at all about poetry, I don't own any poetry, except for Poe of course and if i had to sit and write poetry, I'd probably start bleeding out my ears. But I can say that I liked this. You believe in something and no one can stir you away from that!!! Cool.
