Darkness Creeps

Darkness creeps in the far corners of our mind,

Waiting, Waiting

 for its turn to come out.

If a pure soul is tainted with blood

Or even just a splash of it

Darkness grows

Then it’s hard for a soul to contain it.

This is a deep thought of mine, blood can be a metaphor or not, it really depends on the situation.

Some people believe darkness is to be brought out into the light and dispelled.
A process often referred to as "confession."
Entertaining or "playing with" darkness (of certain types) can be disastrous.
Perhaps, you're talking about a presence that is not, at first, fully recognized.

anything that's dark, dark thoughts is one of them..some do it and made it into reality..then there comes stealing, rape, harassment, and even to kill...its really deep...

Indeed. I believe that we all have our own darkness lurking within. It waits where the light cannot reach, or hides at the edges of our consciousness. Our darkness is there, even in our shadows. Those who right are the ones that are able to conquer, if for only a moment, their own darkness.

This is a good poem. In the end, I think we all have to make peace with our darkness. Because even though the light may may fade, the darkness never dies.
