Mimesis (I died trying to)

Looking in the mirror I see the perfect flower that others see in me and wonder why they don't see me as the fragile butterfly that I am. A photograph by Seb Janiak inspired me to write the following

'they dissected me
clipped my wings so as to
fit into image'
